A woman has sparked a debate after revealing how she let her boyfriend to sleep with her best friend to prove something to herself. Meg and Owain have been dating for a year after meeting each other at a video shoot for adult content - and say they "clicked right away".
Since they both work in the adult industry, they say their relationship has always been open as it would make their work impossible otherwise. But to prove their relationship can overcome various obstacles, Meg allowed Owain to sleep with her best friend, Bonnie, despite admitting she was "nervous but excited" about the idea. Speaking to the YouTube channel Love Don't Judge, Bonnie admitted: "I have never slept with Owain before. I thought about it."
In the clip, the three are seen speaking to each other about what is about to happen before Bonnie and Owain disappear upstairs, leaving Meg sitting at the table alone.
Meg said: "When Owen told me that he wanted to sleep with Bonnie, I wasn't really shocked to be honest.
"It didn't feel weird like, oh, he wants to sleep with my friend because she's, you know, friends with the two of us and we're always cuddling. We're all just so close. It just felt normal."
However, the couple admitted there was "jealously" around the idea of sleeping with other people when they first started dating - but they overcame it with "communication".
Speaking together, Meg and Owain said: "There was a time of jealousy at the start of the relationship when we were like seeing each other and we weren't together yet.
"That's when you don't know the boundaries and you haven't spoken to each other about what the relationship is yet.
"I think communication is the main boundary like that we need. If we talk about it before and say look are you comfortable with this happening?"

When sitting downstairs and overhearing what was happening just metres away from her, Meg said: "I don't think it will affect mine and Owen's relationship. If anything, it'll bring us closer.
"I'm definitely going to be asking him quite a few questions. I think all night he's going to be bombarded with questions to be honest of how it was and how it was different from in the bedroom with me or if it's very different the comparison.
"I'm quite anxious actually to hear how good she is. I think if everyone was to tell me that he had a better time, you know, with my best friend, that would absolutely probably kill me inside."
Later on in the video, Bonnie and Owain return downstairs to Meg before Bonnie quickly says her goodbyes and leaves them to discuss what happened away from the cameras.
They spoke about the backlash they received online when searching for other couples or singles to join them in the bedroom.
She said: "People question it and they find it really bizarre and they just say it's [our relationship] obviously not going to work.
"I posted a video of me getting ready for my first date without my boyfriend and loads of people were commenting on that saying nasty things.
"Everyone has different boundaries. That's just their way of life. But this is our way of life and we're enjoying it. So, just be happy. They don't have to agree with us."
Commenting on the video, one user said: "She really wants to know the comparison between her and her best friend? Yeah… This isn’t gonna end well."
Another user added: "Why on earth would someone sleep with her best friend and I do use that term loosely."
A third user said: "I’m more concerned for her. If she felt anxious about the situation, was it a bad choice? She did mentioned her fears about it. I think she should let her own body guide to what is a better choice."
